In 2001, after 25 years in the catering industry, Dolores King decided to go to College and specialise in Pattiserie and Confectionery which has always been her passion.
D'Cake Company (the "D" is for "Dolores"!) opened its doors in 2004 in Greenock's Union Street specialising in cakes for any occasion. D'Cake Company works closely with its customers to ensure the ideal cake is created for the occasion. The list of cakes is endless, with various options available to customise, add personal touches or a specific theme.
Dolores welcomes customers to pop in and discuss ideas for their perfect cake no matter how obscure! There is a choice of sponges in chocolate or vanilla or fruit cake. Your imagination has no boundaries as Dolores loves a challenge and there's not much that she hasn't covered. One of Dolores' favourites was for a customer's wife who was a marathon runner and her husband had asked for a giant pair of trainers!
